Tim
& Angie Halton are seasoned restauratuers that continue to impress
their pious Prairie du Chien patrons with fresh flavorful fare.
Just ask people in Prairie du Chien, WI where to get a good burger
and beer, you’ll surely hear “Spring Lake Inn”.
They offer charbroiled Wundo-burgers, Wundo-chicken sandwiches,
fries, rings, other sides and sandwiches and dinners off the menu.
The delicious dinners start with their signature vegie/relish plate
and are served in the comfortable dining room off the bar.
Broiled Wundo Shrimp started when Angie generously seasoned a half
pound of 21-25 count shrimp with Wundoemus Spice Blend and placed
them in the oven and served the first now famous wundo shrimp. It
has quickly become one of the most requested entrees over the years
although it has never appeared on the menu. Spring Lake's Broiled
Wundo-Shrimp will be appearing on the new menu.
The Haltons have operated the Spring Lake Inn since the early 1990’s.
Tim and Angie host guests at the Spring Lake Motel across the street.
The Halton’s hospitality is always a great experience so if
