In The News
The Wundo Band performance at Galena, Illinois’ Music on Main made the Dubuque Telegraph Herald here's what they had to say;
"Up on stage, a trio of area musicians are having a ball - playing spirited music, telling groaner jokes and hawking their signature spice mix, Wundoemus Spice Blend. The Wundo Band even sang an anthem to the peppery additive, rousing diehard fans to jump up dancing and lip-syching the words.
"Shake your bottle when you can’t stand bland ... Don’t you settle for any other brand Try it, you’ll like it, you can buy it from us, you can shake your bottle of Wundoemus!” When you can't stand bland…………………. Shake your bottle of Wundoemus!"
One of those loyal fans, Denise Johnson, of Platteville, Wis., said Galena audiences have a good time when the Platteville-based Wundoes play. Just then, the band broke into what has to be the most unusual versions of the Beatles' song "Yesterday" - with the band leader Tud Bowden, "Colonel Wundo" playing the musical saw!
